The style seen in the picture is based on the millitary style of stock and uses a button fastening, I have based this on the style of stock as held in the National Maritime Museum as worn by Lord Nelson. It is made from a beautiful Black cotton velvet and lined with a black satin. Please click on the image to zoom in and see other images. Had a naval captains frock made in August 2015, Chris did an excellent job, very friendly, gets back to emails fast, fair prices. Just know, it's just a few people working in his shop so expect orders to take some time. I live in the United States and I emailed them my measurements and the coat fit wonderfully. Would buy from these people again
