Napoleonic/ Regency Naval Lieutenant tail coat

This is based on a British naval lieutenants undress coat, from around 1800-1820. This style of uniform is pictured being worn in some famous portraits of Nelsons death on HMS Victory, along with other contempory sources. And we make ours based on extant Naval uniforms, to best interpret the piping, seamlines buttoning etc of these jackets, to ensure that we’re bringing you something as authentic as we can. The style as pictured and priced here, is made form a good quality wool, piped with white wool, fully lined with white linen and using a generic button. Please note however that these can easily be made from repro cloth and using repro buttons as well for extra cost, as well as even more authentic touches please simply contact us for any further info.
