Royal Scots Greys mess uniform circa1900

This uniform consists, (as pictured) of waistcoat and mess jacket. The waistcoat in this instance, is made from a silk dupion, edged with metal braid, hand embroidered, and embelished with 30 small ball buttons. And fastens at the front with a zip. And has a slide adjuster to the back. The Jacket is made from a scarlet wool, with buff facing cloth at the collar and cuff. And is edged with the same 3/4" metal braid as is used on the waistcoat, it has a band of russia braid at te base of the collar, and a frog for fastening at the throat (on the inside). Please note that the braid used is a beautiful metal/wire, millitary braid with a lovely and intricate pattern on it, but is not the Actual briad used for the Scots guard as far as I”m aware. However if you would like to be even more authentic and accurate with braid etc, then this can all be discussed, and prices work out, for this and other uniforms. Epaulettes/shoulder straps are included in this price.
